Grab & Go Snacks for the Busy Mom

How many times have you picked your children up from school and heard them say, “Mom, I’m hungry?” Are you often heading to an after-school activity before heading home? The following snacks are perfect to grab and go for the busy mom.

  • KIND. KIND began selling products in 2004 and has grown from 8 different bar flavors to 22 bars and Healthy Grains snackable clusters. KIND snacks are made from ingredients you can pronounce and are generally healthy for you. If you are running out the door in the morning, pack a KIND Breakfast Bar with you. If you are looking for a mid-afternoon bite, have the KIND Health Grains Popped Snack Bites.
  • Quinn Snacks. Quinn Snacks was founded by Quinn’s parents a few years ago. They have reimagined classic snacks by using real ingredients and honesty about where the ingredients have come from. They only use pronounceable ingredients. If popcorn and pretzels are your thing, Quinn Snacks offers a great variety! There’s olive oil popcorn, kale popcorn, parmesan and rosemary popcorn, and more!
  • Cide>>Road. After you’ve eaten your KIND bars and popped snack bites and Quinn Snacks, quench your thirst with a bottle of Cide>>Road! It’s the perfect companion to any adventure you’ll go on with your family.

Husband and wife duo Kevin Duffy and Hilary LaForge cofounded Cide>>Road in 2014, after taking a detour down a “side road” on a trip to Vermont. They stopped at a local general store that sold its own switchel mixture. After tasting it, Kevin developed his own unique switchel blends and Cide>>Road Organic Switchel was born. Cide>>Road is made up of all certified organic ingredients including the core to any switchel (apple cider vinegar, maple syrup and ginger), filtered water and cane syrup. It is currently available in three flavors – the Original Maple & Ginger, Blueberry and Cherry.
