Product FAQs

How should I consume Daily Dose?
Mix one bottle of Cide Road Daily Dose with a large glass of water or sparkling water. We do not encourage consuming this product straight from the bottle as it is spicy and very tart. Do not consume if safety seal is damaged or missing. Refrigerate after opening.
When should I consume Daily Dose?
Daily Dose can be consumed at any time of the day or night. We recommend one bottle per day to help keep your wellness in balance.
Is Daily Dose unpasteurized?
Yes! Daily Dose is an unpasteurized product. It’s PH is below 3.5, making it extremely acidic and therefore self-preserving. If you are elderly, immune compromised, pregnant or nursing, we urge you to consult your doctor before consuming our products. Refrigerate after opening.
What is the sediment at the bottom of the bottle?
Cold-pressed ginger juice settles and collects as a sediment on the bottom of your bottle. This powerful antioxidant rich sediment is naturally found in ginger juice. A good shake for a few seconds will stir it up.
Is Daily Dose organic?
All of the ingredients with the exception of the hemp oil extract are certified organic ingredients. As of this writing, the USDA does not have an organic certification for hemp oil.
What is that heat or burning sensation when I consume your products?
We use organic, Peruvian ginger juice as an ingredient in Daily Dose. It packs a punch of gingerol, the compound in the ginger that’s spicy hot! Ginger can help relieve feelings of nausea from morning and motion sickness and has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties.
Why can’t I find Daily Dose in stores?
Currently, we are only selling Daily Dose online, direct to consumers. We may expand to stores at some point in the future.

ACV FAQs

How much ACV is good for you?
Although we can’t tell you how much apple cider vinegar is good for you, we can tell that you that balance and moderation are the keys to achieving a sound body and mind. Everybody is different and thus you should consult with a medical professional to see if and how much apple cider vinegar is good for you.
How might ACV improve your overall wellness?
  1. Weight Loss: In a recent clinical trial, participants drank 15 ml of ACV with lunch and dinner (a total of 2 tablespoons). They also ate a diet that was 250 calories less than their daily estimated requirements. The researchers found that ACV significantly reduced weight. In fact, the people in the ACV group lost an average of 8.8 lbs over 12 weeks. On the other hand, the participants who did not receive ACV only lost 5 lbs over the 12-week study period.
  2. Blood Sugar Balance: Only about half of all Americans have normal blood / sugar levels. ACV can help serve as an additional tool to help balance or lower blood sugar levels.
  3. Gut Health: Raw ACV is a prebiotic which supports the beneficial or good bacteria growth in your large intestine, aka, your gut!
  4. Immune system: Most of your immune system exists in your gut. A well balanced and healthy gut supports an overall healthy immune function.
What is raw ACV and what is 'The Mother'?
Raw ACV is unfiltered apple cider vinegar that has not been heat-treated and therefore contains proteins, enzymes and friendly or good bacteria commonly known as ‘The Mother.’

These good bacteria act as probiotics help keep your digestive system running smoothly, so that you can get the most out of the food that you consume. Probiotics are also great for the immune system, the majority of which is located in your digestive tract. The good bacteria in your digestive system compete for resources with the bad bacteria and maintaining a healthy balance can help prevent you from getting sick.

The mother also contains enzymes, which are essential for breaking down foods so that your body can make use of the nutrients you consume. Most raw foods contain enzymes, but the enzymes are often destroyed by cooking; adding in a supplementary source like apple cider vinegar is a great way to make up for this.

CBD FAQ’s

What is CBD
Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the 113+ compounds, known as cannabinoids, found in cannabis plants. It’s a non-intoxicating cannabinoid that has the ability to act on cannabinoid receptors that are part of the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) in every human body.

Plant cannabinoids, also known as phytocannabinoids, bind with this system and may help regulate certain vital functions of the body.

Studies suggest that when the ECS is in sync, the human body is able to achieve what is called homeostasis, which means your body is operating at optimal human performance.

Is CBD legal?
Yes, hemp derived products are now legal in all 50 states.
How much CBD is OK?
There are currently no FDA guidelines for CBD or hemp oil containing the cannabinoid CBD, therefore we cannot tell you how much CBD should be consumed on a daily basis. We chose an amount of hemp oil extract that yields 20 mg of CBD per serving in our product because our own research suggests that is an optimal amount of CBD.
What is the difference between Cannabis, Hemp, and Marijuana?
Cannabis

Cannabis is a family of plants with two classifications, Indica and Sativa. Marijuana can be a member of either Indica or Sativa but hemp can only be from the Sativa family. Cannabis plants contain a number of compounds knows as cannabinoids. The two most dominant are THC and CBD. While both have been shown to have benefits to the human body, THC produces psychoactive effects when consumed but CBD does not.

Generally, the difference between hemp and marijuana is in the concentration of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), with hemp generally considered so low in concentration so as to be non-psychoactive. Hemp is still cannabis sativa, same as some of the most popular strains of marijuana.

Marijuana

Marijuana, on the other hand, contains up to 30% THC and is generally grown to maximize the growth of flowers and increase the concentration of THC. Hemp is typically grown to maximize the overall size of the plant as quickly as possible, usually achieved by growing outdoors. A lot of marijuana, though not all, is grown indoors, so as to control many variables such as light cycles and soil nutrients.

Hemp

Hemp, is still cannabis, bred to have a low THC, high-CBD concentration, and is a specialized variety of sativa. Hemp has been cultivated for industrial applications for centuries. It grows quickly, and its fibers are strong and versatile, used to make paper, textiles, rope and even concrete. Hemp can also be used to make biodiesel fuel and animal feed. Hemp seeds are a source of vegetarian/vegan protein.

What is the difference between Isolate, Broad Spectrum and Full Spectrum CBD?
Full Spectrum
  • Created from hemp through full plant extraction
  • Includes all active hemp-derived cannabinoids, including trace amounts of THC (<0.3%).
  • Also contains plant terpenes, flavonoids, vitamins, minerals, plant proteins all from original hemp source
  • All compounds work together in what is known as the Entourage Effect to multiply the potential health benefits
Broad Spectrum
  • Created by taking Full Spectrum extract and further processing it to remove trace amounts of THC
  • Includes most active hemp-derived cannabinoids, except THC
  • Just like Full Spectrum, all compounds work together in what is known as the Entourage Effect to multiply the potential health benefits
Isolate
  • Created by removing all other molecules except CBD from the Full Spectrum extract
  • All that remains is a white powder that is at least 99% pure CBD with 0.0% THC
